James Otter has built hollow wooden boards in Porthtowan since 2008: a laser-cut poplar frame skinned in cedar and poplar, then finished by a separate laminator, with around 70 hours of woodwork per board (maker's figures). Six core shapes are priced; a larger library of designs on the workshop page may not all be orderable.
